Street Etiquette

Joshua Kissi is holding it down rather well over at Street Etiquette. The website has slowly gained a huge following and now causes a stir each and every time they drop a new post. They have been hailed 'best menswear blog' by The Guardian and continue to receive equally impressive praise from well known brands and individuals, such as GQ and Sebago. Not bad for two guys in their early twenties from The Bronx, eh? If you are a man, and don't mind clothes, you will probably find something that attracts you to this truly brilliant blog. Check the site HERE. No use in staying ignorant.

Secret Wars

Secret Wars is gearing up for it's Quarter-Finals, and of course G-Shock & myself will be there as everybody's favourite, ever popular, live art battle tournament reaches it's head. I'm going to wet your appetite in the lead up with some action from Dublin. Very fun times.

We Love Ibiza Collabo

To celebrate the G-Shock Burlington Project's partnership with 'We Love…' Casio have created a very limited run of unique G-Shock products featuring designs by our esteemed illustrator David Tazzyman, incorporating elements from our 2010 artwork. These collaboration watches are a limited edition range of 150 pieces so hurry up. Get them here. Or at the G-Shock East retail space.
Oh yeah... they come packaged in a custom designed G-Shock box and includes a t-shirt with every watch. I will drop some exclusive pictures of the green colour way later this week.

Wiley Aim High

At first I thought it was an awful idea, Wiley leaking his whole catalogue of music that he's produced in the last 6 months (a lot of tracks), all for free, on a mixtape/music library that has been now dubbed 'The Zip Files'. This is his latest single off of it, it's called Aim High. It's odd, but I like the sentiment behind it, and heeeyyy, Wiley is a music legend, he can do what he wants.

Brandon Flowers - Crossfire

Incredible. Brandon Flowers' debut solo video.

WeSC x G-Shock

Our friends at WeSC have really smashed it out of the park for next spring as they take the signature G-SHOCK DW-5600 model and really make it look as beautiful as ever. Featuring a familiar square shape, the watch is brightly lit thanks to the yellow colorway and the WeSC markings on the band. Available Spring of 2011. Laaaavely work.

Daisy Mays Pork

The award winning BBQ restaurant in New York's Lower Westside, Daisy Mays, literally had me fiending pork and mac cheese goodness the rest of my trip on America's east coast. I of course hit the place up a few times, got friendly with the manager, who informed me the head chef is opening a London restaurant with Jamie Oliver. Interesting eh? Anyway don't say I'm not good to ya'... have a look at this award winning pork.

Hugo

Had a sneak listen of this man Hugo's album while in New York, and also caught him performing, it's sounding good, and the RocNation man will be released to the world sometime in the next year. Keep your eyes peeled. Until then, here's a peak at his first video that see's him covering his boss Jay-Z's hit '99 Problems'.

Luke Monaghan x Joe Cole

A recent interview I done with Joe Cole the week he left for the World Cup. He seemed very confident, how very wrong he was. Par.

Rooftop in SoHo

Good day folks. Found myself on a rooftop in New York this week indulging in some hot dog, beer, sun and burger action. Much love to EIKNARF & High Snobiety on the snaps. I shall be releasing some still and moving footage from my journeys in the city that never sleeps soon. I will of course drop that on this here blog.

Love you New York.

The Wakestock Takeover

From 2nd-4th July 2010, The G-Shock family (my invite got lost in the post) descended on Wakestock for a weekend of fun and frolics in the North Wales sun. Taking pride of place back stage was the newly roofless G-Shock/Baby G routemaster bus which became the centre of all the action and antics for the entire weekend. It's no surprise as Hattie Collins and a touch of alcohol were present on the bus at all times.

All the head line acts stopped by to party on the top deck, which provided a perfect view of the main stage and the entire festival ground. Notable party goers to join the G-Shock team and the G-Shock sponsored RAF Ski Team for three nights of fun and frolics were: Maximo Park (who said their G-Shock gifts were a highlight of the whole festival), Tinie Tempah, Plan B, Feeder, Scream, Chase and Status, N-Dubz, The Future Heads, The Ting Tings, Mr Hudson (who broke his ankle, nice) and Hurts. The Dirty Sanchez boys also stopped by to cause chaos in a way that only they can…

The unmistakeable bus boasts G-Shock’s shock resistant watches set into each of its wheels, and even after tens of thousands of miles, lots of mud, and plenty of all night partying sessions, the watches are still working to the exact second! For all VIPs backstage at festivals looking for a venue to party all day and all night, the unrelenting G-Shock bus is the only place to be.

See you next year Wakestock.

A Night On Dray Walk

Laughs were had, champagne was poured, glass was smashed, g-shocks were gawped over. Following on from our written write-up of the G-Shock East store launch, here is some beautiful visuals to ponder over. Tell a friend.
