iD Magazine
I'm featured in iD magazine this issue, how lovely... "The past, present and future stars stand under the umbrella of THEN, NOW and NEXT! are all snapped for our 30th birthday issue. With more names than you can shake a bag of monkeys at, we have brains, beauty and the downright gorgeous men and women, back-to-back-to-back in our non-stop birthday festivities. We conducted a 3 week celebratory photoshoot at Somerset House collaborating with Nick Knight to document the turn of the decade. With cover stars Lady Gaga & Naomi Campbell being 2 of the 200." ...And I'm one of them. So go and pick it up if you want, even if they did call me a journalist in it. Still worth a read.
J.Bieber Gets Remixed

Justin Bieber, Kanye West & Wu-Tang rapper Raekwon all on a track together? Yes, it is true. Kanye has remixed J.Biebers track 'Runaway Love' and frankly created something so beautiful. Raekwon & Biebs on a track together almost makes me want to cry with joy. Thanks Kanye, you really are "The Gap like Banana Republic and Old Navy". Listen HERE.

Pilpop does Berlin
This is a beautifully shot video by filmmaker Pilpop, he channels his love and appreciation for the city of Berlin through this piece titled “Little Big Berlin”. The video was shot with a Sony HC9 tilt-shift lens, so if you have a spare 8 minutes, sit back and enjoy.

Tone

That bloke right there is photographer and videographer, TONE. Hailing from New Jersey TONE has really blown me away with his work since I first discovered his work a couple of years back. I have had the chance to share a beverage with the man in his now infamous loft, where he interviews, shoots and entertains talents of his choosing. He is killing the game right now, and the sky is the limit for him. I would go and check his work out pronto over HERE.
Cee-Lo
This song is going to be HUGE. I will bite my arm off and blog the evidence right here if it doesn't go to number one. Cee-Lo does have a knack for pulling an anthem out of nowhere and this charmingly titled track 'F**K YOU' follows in that vein. The song will appear on his much anticipated upcoming 'The Lady Killer'. Expect an official video for the song to drop next week – ahead of its October 4th release in the UK and US.
Miss Me
Surprised to see a video pop up for this track seeing as Lil Wayne is incarcerated and all. But the 'Young Money' family seem to have worked around that small hiccup, or shall I say Director Anthony Mandler did. This is 'Miss Me' taken from Drake's 'Thank Me Later' album. It's really quite well done.

As you can hear below, this version boasts all new lyrics and a neat Snap-sample. Now, without much further ado, do the Power-clap my youts. Full song HERE.

Henrik Hansen
This is a brilliant short, whether or not you care about motorcycles or engineering is irrelevant, it's such a beautifully shot piece and more importantly it's subject is focused on a really very interesting man, who is a true master of his craft. The star is motorcycle engineer Shinya Kimura and the piece is directed by Henrik Hansen. Very well done sir.
Casio Take Over The East End

A few snaps from last Thursday as the Casio family took over Dray Walk in London's east-end and showcased some of the new G-Shock & Baby G range's, as well as some of the other lovely Casio product. I do suggest you head down to Dray Walk and get your hands on some limited time-pieces before it is too late.

Asphalt Warriors
My buddy's at The Madbury Club tease an upcoming video release that entails one part of New York’s sporting institution, basketball. Clad in Jordan Brand gear and retro footwear, the crew set off to highlight the scenery behind some of New York’s best ball courts. Look out for some more work I will be doing with Madbury along with Casio G-Shock next month. Big tings!

Presenting... Suzannah Pettigrew
Hi Suz. If you were to make me a bit of art right now, what would you produce?
A collage. Most of my initial concepts are generated via collage. I'm working on three briefs right now so I would focus on aspects of the brief entitled 'Tits 'n' Ass' because that's how I'm feeling today.

What do you love about london and the creative scene here?
I love that i have come to know many talented people that I call my friends, and have been inspired by them. On the flip side I've recently been affected by creative lifestylers. Their misconception of imitating creative processes to achieve short lived success has pushed me to educate myself further and confirmed the true love I have for art. Longevity and reverence within my craft is what I strive for.
Important question... What's your favourite colour?
Easy question. Gold and Egyptian Blue, the combo of them both is just so classy and gorgeous.
Suzannah Pettigrew is an artist residing in North London for more of the lovely lady, check here.

Fats in East London
The BKc Show
Born on an unassuming corner in Brooklyn, New York, where worlds converge, to a group of diverse visionaries fueled by a common purpose of Style & Character. Founded by Ouigi Theodore, what started as a small shop in Brooklyn New York has now become a huge movement with flagships in San Francisco and Chicago and outposts in Japan and Sweden bearing the logo “BKc.”. It's a truly great brand and this piece of visual above is a lovely teaser for what is about to come from them. Have a watch and click HERE to snoop around their online home. And of course try and hunt down their classic collabo with G-Shock from a year or so ago.

Friday at G-Shock East
Friday night was a jump off at the G-Shock East store. With an in-house DJ and a PA performer playing a completely different set each Friday night, G-Shock is giving artists, musicians and fans of the brand a chance to get together, listen to great live music and party the night away. Ricky Roadz will be providing two artists each week, and all promo parties will be filmed and aired on their website. With the aim of these parties to go and grow, so come down this Friday, it's going to be huge. For updates on who you can expect to see at these events keep checking here.

Dom Kennedy - Menace Beach
Really nice video teamed with some perfect L.A rap from the future of the West Coast, Dom Kennedy. I first listened to his music earlier in the summer whilst driving through New Jersey in the blazing 35 degree heat. Since then, I have barely stopped listening.

Presenting... Fatsarazzi
For the first 'Presenting' feature in the series, we talk to photographer, father and blogger Fats Shariff aka. Fatsarazzi. He is a legend in the streetwear game and an all round incredible man. So get to know him a bit more below.

One thing you couldn't live without? (not including your kids, wouldn't want you to choose.)
What...can't chose a child!? Ok well it would have to be my Camera, well one of them... don't make me chose one of them! Haha!
You're a distinctive & striking looking man, how did this come about?
Why thank you, but you still can't have me. It all happened due to a mixture of love, hate, indian spice, sunshine, rain and a little charm... pure Alchemy I guess.
You've worked all over the world, what draws you back to london?
It is my home... my love and hate reside here. I can find all the extremes in London & there is no romantic or poetic haze to cloud my vision. London is inspiration.
Where can we find more of you?
I'm everywhere. Google me.
If you're not a google fan, find more of Fats here.

From Civilization To Power
POWER shows a continuous camera move from extreme close-up of Mr. West revealing an a neoclassical video tableau showing characters and creatures surrounding him in an abstract environment – all moving in extreme slow motion. Inspired by Michelangelo’s frescos in the Sistine Chapel, the piece depicts a faux historical moment – an empire on the brink of collapse from its own excess, decadence and corruption.
The internet is going crazy in anticipation of Kanye West's latest offering. His 5th studio album released next month is set to be incredible, as is the video for his first track off of the record entitled 'Power'. I'm excited. Are you?

The Garbstore

The Garbstore recently designed a collabo watch with the good ol' G-Shock team, what came out of it is nothing short of beautiful. Feast your eyes on the pictures above and look into getting one of these limited edition bad boys. Besides the watch, The Garbstore are really just very good at what they do, with an eye for quality and simple, timeless design, they are definitely worth a look. A long look... more like a stare if anything. Give them a stare and learn more here.
